Higher secondary certificate (HSC) examinations can be put at the same level as of central board of secondary education (CBSE). There are several reasons that we can claim this statement. As you know that Maharashtra board conducts HSC and SSC examinations two times every year. First in the month of March and second in October. Since the evaluation takes around 2 months to complete the result is declared in June and January.

In SSC examination around 17000 students appear while in HSC around 14000 students. The number sometimes got less or more. There are 9 divisional board of Maharashtra and mostly belong to Mumbai. The examination centers are basically local college and schools (private and public). If we talk about students performance than that is sometimes better than those of CBSE board. Since past 6 -7 years more than 90{4e02c539215b7b748e209c91ce2981d0d10fb004ed6138f025548750dc163966} of students clears the board. This year HSC result 2018 will release in last week of may as per the official announcement

While if we talk about CBSE board there are approximately 19,316 schools in India and 211 schools in 25 foreign countries affiliated to the CBSE. They not only conduct 10th and 12th board exams but also other competition exams too. CBSE board comes on the second list in raking of the most prominent academic boards of India. Maharashtra is ranked at fourth number in this list. The reason why we are telling that Maharashtra board is same as CBSE board is because both accounts almost same number of students every year and the result of these two boards does not differ so much.

Also the type of facilities the affiliated schools of both the boards provide can’t be differentiated if explore at major level.
